Tea Party at the Eltham Library, May 29, 2015.

Eltham Library hosted a fund raising for cancer Morning Tea last Friday.  One of the events was a talk presented by Wanda MacPherson of the Embroiderers Guild Vic.   Wanda is an experienced speaker, and her talk was very informative and entertaining.  She spoke about the history of tea, how it is prepared in different cultures, and showed us several decorative and unusual tea pots, cups and saucers.

Then we were treated to a display of some of Wanda's vast collection of teacosies, tablecloths and aprons.  I was in Embroidery Heaven!   I wasn't quick enough to photograph everything, but here are some of her lovely tablecloths:
